Palm Beach Favorites
We just love to visit Palm Beach. It is a favorite and frequent get-a-way for our family because it checks so many boxes. The weather is wonderful. The children and adults love it alike! You can be as active or relax as much as you like. The food is fabulous. Here are a few of our favorite spots. I would love to hear about yours too!
Where to stay:
The Breakers – We love the Breakers for a family trip because you almost don’t even need to leave the resort to have a great time. There is something for everyone: beach, pool, shopping, wonderful dining. The rooms are spacious and they have great layouts for a family or adults. We have been there for large events and just for family get-a-ways and it never disappoints. The flowers in the lobby are a special treat as well!
The Colony – The Colony is a favorite of design lovers. The iconic pink hotel is fashionable and fun. It is a boutique hotel that certainly serves the visitor who wants to celebrate in classic Palm Beach style. It has a super-chic swimming pool and bar!
Eau Resort – Our family loved our spring break stay at Eau Resort. We were a big group and they were very accommodating. The pool was perfect for the little ones to enjoy and the beach is easy to access. It is about a 25 minute drive into town so, if you plan to shop or dine out, keep that in mind!
Where to shop:
Palm Beach is full of all of the wonderful luxury brands you expect from a shopping area like Worth Avenue. All of the high-end fashion brands have a presence there and there is a window full of fabulous gems on every block! My favorites stops in Palm Beach are down the little side streets and off the beaten path. I hope you like them too!
Lilly Pulitzer – A visit to Lilly is a must in Palm Beach! It really gets you in the mood for the fun ahead. I love bringing home a tote to tee in their iconic Palm Beach Print as a souvenir.
Leta Austin Foster – The Palm Beach designer’s jewel box of a store is a treasure trove of off-the-beaten-path luxury brands. It is a little zig-zag of treasures and the perfect place to go for gifts of finishing touches for your home. She even has a lovely little selection of classic children’s clothing.
Aerin – The curated shop is filled with Aerin’s fabulous home items as well as her favorite brands. Necklaces from Jennifer Creel mix casually with caftans from Lisa Marie Fernandez. It is an elegant little shop that I am certain you won’t leave empty handed.
Kassalty’s – I never miss a visit to this classic linen shop when I am in Palm Beach. I typically treat myself to a new quilted robe or bed jacket and I spend hours browsing their bed and table linens.
The Church Mouse – If you like to treasure hunt, this church charity shop is for you! It is hit-or-miss but really fun to browse in.
Lycette – This little shop is a stitcher’s paradise! Even though I already have a stash of stitching to do, I can’t help but to buy a few more needlepoint canvases when I step in to this charming little shop.
Where to dine:
La Goulue – Order the French Fries!
Le Bilbouquet – This is always a treat! We always order their signature le Poulet Cajun.
Bice – The best Italian in the US!
