A Beach Side Tablescape with Fete Home
It was such a joy to collaborate with Fete Home on this beach side tablescape. My family is soaking in the last bit of summer before remote learning begins and I have enjoyed creating tablescapes on our rental’s terrace overlooking the ocean. I was thrilled when the opportunity to collaborate with the on-line resource I love so much came up!
Our concept evolved over a few weeks as the goodies we selected would sell out and we would pivot to make a new plan. The lesson there is that if you see something here that you love, you better snatch it up fast before it sells out! Especially these octagonal placemats. They are certainly a favorite and Fete Home keeps restocking them.
We layered several of the beautiful Meraki Tablecloths to cover the extra long table and set the placemats on top.
When I first saw these beaded plates on-line, I liked them but when I got them in my hands, I LOVED them! They are even more wonderful up close than they appear in photographs. They have a great texture and charming pattern. All of the ladies in my family fussed over them!
The same was true of the glasses. It is really hard to photograph the effect created by the fluting. It is so lovely! They are truly the perfect neutral glass that could go from a breakfast table to a dinner table.
I love the pop that these cheerful blue linen napkins gave to the table too! They feel so soft and I like that they lend a casual air to our beach side table.
In the center of the table, I stretched out my collection of hurricanes by Amanda Lindroth. I used three of them to hold loosely arranged dahlias and the others glowed with candlelight.
The flatware is my mothers and I’m trying to find an on-line resource for it. Stay tuned!
