Kappa Tablescapes Event Recap and Designers 2025

 

 

I was so impressed with the incredible designer tables at the 2025 Kappa Tablescapes event.  They were all so elegant and inspiring.  I loved every one but only captured images of a few of them as I was racing in to the Ball Room for my interview with Aerin Lauder.  I was honored to be asked to interview her as the keynote for the event and she was charming and fascinating.

One of my favorite things that she said was that her iconic grandmother, Estée Lauder, often said that “a party is a gift you give your friend.”  That will stick with me every time I see anything from Estee!

She also told the incredible story of her grandmother pitching her invention of the gift-with-purchase at Harrods in London.  Harrods was skeptical of the idea but when the Queen’s lady-in-waiting rolled up to pick up the Queen’s GWP, they realized that Estee was on to something!!

Now Aerin has followed in her Grandmother’s footsteps and created an eponymous brand of beauty, fashion and entertaining products.  Her stores are so special and her website is a great place to discover something new.  Her latest book, Living with Flowers is stunning!  It is filled with gorgeous examples of beautiful bouquets in her lovely homes and on her inviting tables.
