Twenty Four Days of Tablescapes – Day 22

Today’s tablescape is another children’s table that I put together using an inexpensive red cloth, faux bois wrapping paper for placemats and monogrammed ginger snaps as place cards.  The gingerbread houses were prepared by my daughter using only red and white candies so that they would serve our color scheme!  A little bit of faux-snow added a special touch that the children loved playing with.

I’d love to know if you set a children’s table or keep everyone at one table?  For us, it depends on the number of guests we will have.

SO cute! My only “little” my 2 y/o granddaughter Sofia who lives in Madrid 🙂 . My now grown kids beat us old folks to the dining room and declared it “the cool kids table” the last large gathering we were able to have! I will take your ideas and set them a special table in the kitchen like the old days the next time.
