A Feast for the Senses

I was thrilled when the team at NorthPark asked me to create a tablescape for the September Issue of their magazine.  Tablescaping is one of favorite things to do!  They challenged me to come up with a look that would suit the Fall and Holiday entertaining style of a host who wants to make his or her guests feel relaxed and festive.

I set out to create a table that was inspired by Dutch still life paintings with beautiful textures and easy arrangements of flowers and fruits.  We mixed metals, played with a color scheme that isn’t “traditionally Fall” and set a table at White Oaks Ranch that would make our guests feel comfortable and ready to celebrate. Big thanks to the wonderful marketing team at NorthPark, Ryan Bailey and Banowtz Company, the helpful hands at White Oaks Ranch, Neiman Marcus, William Sonoma, Dillards, Arhaus, and Anthropologie.  I loved working with photographer Chris Plavidal and stylist Crisman Liverman.  Thank you to Neiman Marcus NorthPark for dessing me in this special  Chloe Dress .
