Easter Egg Hunt
We love hosting our annual Easter Egg Hunt at White Oaks Ranch! My family gathered together to pull off another fun time for our friends and I hope they all had fun! We were all praying that the rain would stay away and they did! We have had showers that have put quite the damper on our celebrations in the past!
We chose a bright color scheme this year with Gingham Tablecloths in yellow, aqua and hot pink. My sister, Kari and I found these wonderful bright felted bunnies back in January and they were our inspiration for the decor. We put them out on the tables and added cabbages arrangements with bright flowers. Hope Hill Designs made them by cutting out a chunk of the center of the cabbage and filled it with oasis. She added the flowers and carefully chose the flowers to fill them. She also sliced off a part of the bottom of the cabbage to make a flat section that would help the cabbage sit at the table.
The kids were able to hit the dessert buffet, hold and pet live chicks and hunt to their hearts delight.
As always, we took a few minutes to remember the real reason we celebrate Easter by asking a special friend to read the biblical Easter story. This year we asked JR’s Godmother, Dr Mary Collings, to read and she signed and dated the inside of the book when she was done just as all of the other readers have done.
What a beautiful celebration for Holy Week 💛
Thank you for all you did to make it so special! xo
