NorthPark Ambassador Jennifer Dix and the Parade of Playhouses
The halls of NorthPark Center are always filled with museum worthy art but I think they truly come alive when that art work is surrounded by the wonderful non-profit projects that NorthPark advocates for. One of my favorites is the Parade of Playhouses benefitting CASA or “Court Appointed Special Advocates.”
The Parade of Playhouses is a presentation of whimsical and imaginative playhouses designed and built by volunteer architects, builders, designers, corporations and individuals. They are displayed in at NorthPark Center and visitors can purchase raffle tickets to benefit CASA. The fundraiser lasts for 17 days and it is a great opportunity to participate in a raffle that does a great deal of good for a very worthy organization. The event will begin on July 15 and run through the 31st. To view the playhouses and purchase raffle tickets, click here.

We were honored when one of my dear friends, Jennifer Dix, agreed to serve as one of our 2022 NorthPark Ambassadors. CASA is her chosen charity as her mother-in-law, Penny Dix, had been a tireless CASA Advocate for many years. When she passed recently, Jennifer and her husband, Richard, set up a fund in her honor.
