Celebrate Independence Day

What a wonderful occasion to celebrate!  America’s Independence and the freedoms we have because of the brave men and women who fought for it are worthy of being honored this weekend.

I love to study history but it wasn’t until I watched HBO’s John Adams miniseries that I truly understood what life was like before and in the years immediately following America’s independence.  If you haven’t seen it yet, watch it this weekend!

I also love to set a red, white and blue tablecsape! I like to collect tabletop pieces that can be used on many different occasions and this tablescape is filled with items that are no exception.  The Blue Canton plates can be used every day and the red linens are great during the Christmas holidays and Valentine’s Day as well!
