Kimberly Whitman x Antonio Melani Collaboration Reveal

I’m completely overwhelmed by all of the support and kind words I have received on the sneak peeks we have been posting for the Kimberly Whitman and Antonio Melani Collaboration!  Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all of you who have made a purchase or are planning to!  I can’t wait to see how you style the collection!

After all of the posts that have trickled out to you, I thought it might be good to have all of the collection in one place so that you can see everything together, plan your buy and learn a little bit more about each piece.  I’m here to answer any of your questions so please don’t hesitate to reach out!

The collection is starting to arrive in Dillards stores across the country now and, yes, it will be in every one! It is available to shop on line as well.  Click here to shop the collection.   The dresses are offered in sizes 0 – 16.

The dress above is one that I am so excited about!  If you read my post about the inspiration behind the collection, you can see that this print was inspired by my favorite table top porcelain, Tobacco Leaf.  The floral print in the collection is really special and was created with care. The border and tie are in a complementary ribbon pattern that pulls out the colors from the floral print.

I was thrilled to be able to offer a headband to complement the dress and so many of the other pieces in the collection.  The border of the raffia headband is the same as that on the floral dress and the bottom of the headband is the signature floral print.  It is a great accessory if you like to wear a headband!  Millie and I are both enjoying it!

The cut of this dress was inspired by my desire to have a dress that would go from day to night in a lady like length.  I love the way the small sleeve balances out the full skirt and gives shape to the waist. It comes with the belt made of stretchy raffia shown here, which I love.  I love the weight and the pockets on this dress.  It is lined but the full skirt still moves with you.  I’m wearing it here with the white heel in the collection.  More on the shoes later in this post!

One of my favorite accessories in the collection is the belt shown above.  It is sold with the scarf woven through it but the scarf can be easily removed and you can replace it with any one of your favorites.  I have had a belt like this for years that I love to change the scarf. It is so easy and a fun way to add a bit of shape to a dress.

The same dress was made in this wonderful neutral seersucker.  The fabric is so light and the skirt makes you  feel like you should just dance!  I love this dress for the summer.  I especially love it with the color blocked heel in black, white and nude.  They make such a statement together!

The pink maxi-dress feels joyful and vibrant, exactly how I want to feel this summer!  I love the dramatic color, the pockets, the shape and the length.  I paired it here with the metallic slide from the shoe collection.  I also love the neckline.  It has a small ruffle around the neck, difficult to see in this photo, but I love the way it gives the neck a special detail that is noticeable when I have my hair up, which is most days in a Texas summer!

My chic mother threw the scarf from the collection over her shoulder in this great shot!  So pretty together!  I love the way she wears it over one shoulder. I might wear in my hair around a pony tail.  (The belt looks great around this dress too!)

I paired the same dress in a joyful yellow color with the tomato slides from the collection.  If you like to wear yellow, this dress is a must have!  It is one of my favorite colors.

This dress is so comfortable yet feels so special.  The unusual color combination is so pretty in the ethereal floral print.  I love the way the stripes really anchor the design and I think it is really fun paired with the tomato slide again.  We worked hard to make the tie at the neck just right and the three wooden beads at the end of the twisted tie give this dress such a great look!

The white shirt dress is really a wardrobe staple and I’m thrilled with the way that ours turned out.  The ruched waist is so flattering and the quality is wonderful!  The buttons carry our logo delicately etched in.  It is such a pretty touch.  The collar and edges are lined in a white grosgrain ribbon giving the dress a truly elevated look.  I would wear this dress for dinner with the clogs from the collection and a sweater over my shoulders or for running around during the day with our slides and a tote or over a bathing suit if I was headed to a pool and wanted more than a cover up.

This dress is fun!  It is universally flattering with its perfect flutter sleeve and shape.  It feels happy and hopeful and I hope you like it as much as I do!  The color is so cheery and the dress is so comfortable.  I love the pockets!

We also made the same shape in white, but not just any white!  This fabric is so special and the floral tone on tone has a wonderful three dimensional quality to it.  This is the perfect summer party dress!

Of course, Millie was not to be left out!  She has inherited my love for dressing up but didn’t want to match me exactly so she created a capsule collection with the help and feedback of some of her young friends.  The tee shirts and skirts are so soft and carry some of her favorite sayings.  Fancy that, bonjour, more sparkles please, and buzzessed are said quite often around here!  I love the way the colors complement my collection and I love that two of the tee shirts have the same little ruffle at the sleeve.

The shoes were designed to complement the collection and fit all of your summer occasion needs.  The heel is so chic and comes in three color combinations.  The solid white heel is a must have for summer.  It was seen on almost every runway and looks so great with almost everything!

The color blocked shoes are a great way to make a darker dress work for summer.  Pair the black, nude and white with a black dress and it will instantly feel fresh.  I also love it with black and white prints. The blue tones are great with navys, blues and denims.

I have a feeling I will be living in these slides all summer.  The colors are so wonderful.  Tomato and Avocado are great with all white as a fun way to add a pop of color and the black and ivory are so elegant.  The metallic is so pretty when you see it.  It has the perfect amount of sheen to be worn like a neutral.

I really wanted to include a clog in the collection because it is such a hot style right now and they are so comfortable!  I wanted it to feel a little bit more refined than a traditional clog though.  We made it a little bit narrower and gave it more of a stacked heel to make if feel a little bit more feminine with out loosing its current standing as the “it shoe” of summer!

I hope you like the collection and wear all of the pieces in great health!

xoxo,

Kimberly

I bought the coral floral print dress yesterday. It looks amazing on me, and the vibe reminds me of one of my (former) favorite stores, Calypso St. Barth. I was so impressed by your collection. Thank you!
