Millie’s Pancake Donut Recipe
Millie was so excited when she found some donut shaped class valentines in Minted’s big selection this year. She was planning to give them to her friends along with some sprinkles! When she learned that we were not allowed to give anything edible away, not even sprinkles, she had to think of a plan B!

She asked if we could order donut molds and share her Pancake Donut Recipe with her friends and I loved the idea! I’m sharing it here with you too!
Ingredients:
2 large eggs
2 cups of your favorite pancake mix
4 tablespoons of granulated sugar
2 tablespoons of melted butter
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 teaspoon of almond extract
Makes 8-10 donuts.
Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees and spray your donut pans with baking spray.
In a large bowl, combine pancake mix and granulated sugar.
Add milk and mix well.
Add melted butter and mix until the lumps are gone.
Add eggs and almond extract and mix well.
Fill your donut pans half way and bake them in the oven for about eight minutes.
Sometimes Millie likes to ice her donuts with Royal icing and add sprinkles and other times she like to eat them with maple syrup!
