Taco Tuesday

Setting the table for Taco Tuesday is festive family fun!  My children made the tissue paper flowers for a home school Cinco-de-Mayo art project so I used them as my inspiration for our color-story. (A few people have asked me for a tutorial so I’ll work on that!) The pink ikat tablecloth was made with fabric from designer Michelle Nussbaumer’s collection for my sister, Kari’s bridal shower in 2011.  The luncheon was featured in Southern Living and you can click here to see more images and read the article.  I linked similar styles below and there so many great ones for you to order! The dinner plates are from my ever-growing collection of vintage Jadite and the chargers are Juliska’s classic Berry and Thread.  I have links below for so many similar and exact items pictured here!

I hosted my sister, Kari’s bridal shower the day before her wedding in 2011. I had this tablecloth made for that day and it brings back happy memories to use it again! The event was featured in Southern Living and was photographed by Laurey Glenn.
