Friday Favorites: Easter Egg Time!
I don’t know about you but I find myself getting quite emotional when thinking about the little traditions that we won’t be able to carry through this year. One of the things I will miss the most is our annual Easter Egg Hunt at White Oaks Ranch. My entire family looks forward to welcoming friends and celebrating one of our favorite holidays. Our invitations were designed, printed, stuffed and stamped and ready to drop into the mail when the Stay-at-Home order was issued in Dallas. I clearly understand that we have so much to be grateful for and that missing an Easter Egg Hunt is really trivial when some are suffering from illness or worrying about loved ones but I think it hits me hard as it is such a cherished tradition. To keep our Easter traditions alive the best that we can, I’ve ordered new eggs like we do every year. Here are a few of our favorites. I hope you will order something special for your Easter celebration this year, whether it is smaller than usual or not!
Sugar Eggs – I just adore these and they take such incredible skill to create! I know because Millie and I attempted to make them last year!
Hand Painted Eggs – We love to collect these year after year!
Papier-Mache Eggs – Some are new and others are antique but all are so special filled with treats and treasures for an intimate at-home Egg Hunt.
Blue and White Eggs – For all of you fellow Blue and White lovers, these will not dissapoint!
