Advent Calendar Time

My family loves the countdown to Christmas,  We returned from our Thanksgiving trip to see family in California today, just in time for the children to dive right into day 1!  Our son uses the tree advent and our daughter uses the nativity scene.  Filling them up is getting trickier as they get older.  Of course candy works but we are trying to avoid all the sweets this year.  Instead I hunted high and low and ended up with cola flavored lip-smakers, a charm bracelet set , tiny classic ornaments and mini-squishies for my daughter and Marvel mini-figures, small metal puzzles, and Teenymates collectible football players for my son.  I’d love to know what you fill your calendars with! We always did one that built the nativity scene. It was interactive and we enjoyed the children telling the story in their own way year after year. And no candy or gifts are required! Thank you for sharing yours! Merry Christmas.

I absolutely love that! Such a wonderful way to celebrate the real reason for the season!
