Gift Wrap Dos and Don’ts
These gorgeous wrapping papers by Mrs. John L. Strong have inspired me to get my wrapping done early this year! I love their elegant and natural motifs!
Here are a few of my wrapping dos and don’ts:
-Do select a paper that is either a solid or has a pattern that is easy to line up.
-Don’t buy papers with stripes and lines as they can be tricky to keep in line when wrapping!
-Do use and place the tape underneath the folds.
-Do set the mood to do your wrapping! Gather your supplies, light a fire and play Christmas Carols or put on a favorite holiday classic film on the tv for some background inspiration.
-Don’t overthink the bow. Simple bows in are my favorite but sometimes I like to fancy up gift by including a sprig of rosemary, a silk flower, a broach or an ornament in the center of the bow.
-Do use high quality tools such as . They are totally worth the investment and will last you a lifetime! You won’t believe how much easier it will make wrapping!
